It does, however, do an excellent job of removing pet hair, with a better speed of pickup than the Roborock S7.

3. Miele RX2

Awarded for its quiet and efficient home appliances, Miele's RX2 robot vacuum has excellent cleaning power, stunning design and great navigation. It has a few oddities in its operation that keep it from being considered the best smart robot vacuum.

Similar to the latest models of iRobot, the RX2 comes with dual-sensor mapping which uses a LIDAR sensor to map an area and three 3D scanning cameras that can detect and avoid obstacles (like furniture legs or pet waste) in real time. Once the room is mapped, the app lets you create virtual no-go zones as well as favorite sections that the robot will automatically clean. The sensors of the RX2 work well in registering furniture and other obstructions in real-time. While the 980's battery life and bin size aren't as impressive as other robot vacuums it's a reliable and solid machine that can keep your floors clean for hours at a time.
